Darcy has spent too long in the 21st century and is wearing maverick modern fragrance which is changing his character . We need to create a ‘magical’ scent that will help transport Darcy back into his own time.

Something has gone terribly wrong!

Having been unexpectedly transported into the modern world, Mr Darcy has encountered fragrances unlike anything known in Regency England. Instead of bergamot, lavender, rose and violet, he has become exposed to powerful modern perfumes filled with caramel, oud, synthetic musks, sea salt accords, gourmand vanillas and mysterious scents !

 The consequences have been alarming.

 His manners are slipping. His reserve is weakening. He has developed a fondness for takeaway coffee and reality television. Most worrying of all, he is in danger of becoming permanently detached from his rightful place in Pride and Prejudice.

 If Darcy is not restored soon, literary history itself may be altered.

Guests are invited to join an emergency Regency Fragrance Society and take part in a scent-based rescue mission. Through a series of interactive challenges, participants will explore the fragrant world of Jane Austen, discover the scents associated with Regency life and identify the dastardly modern aromas responsible for Darcy's transformation and create a ‘magical’ scent that will help transport Darcy back to his own, rightful, time.
